Menosky, Coleite and Beyer join Star Trek 2017

New Trek logoThe writing staff for CBS All Access’ Star Trek series that airs from January is gradually being confirmed.

Star Trek Voyager novelist Kirsten Beyer was revealed earlier in the week, when she had to pull out of attending the Shore Leave convention as she would be working on the show. Trek historian Larry Nemecek confirmed at Phoenix Comicon on June 3rd that Joe Menosky and Aaron Coleite would also be part of the team.

Menosky already has writing credits on 56 of the 24th century Star Trek episodes – covering The Next Generation, Deep Space 9 and Voyager; Coleite is best known for his work on Heroes.

The new Star Trek series is set to start shooting in the autumn in Toronto, with Bryan Fuller as showrunner.
